Polish regional tourism voucher programs

Overview

Several Polish voivodeships are implementing tourism voucher programs to stimulate regional travel and support the local hospitality industry during the autumn months.

In Podlaskie Voivodeship, the ‘Podlaski Czek Turystyczny’ program utilizes a 3.4 million PLN budget. Following its opening on September 1, 2026, the first round saw approximately 6,668 vouchers issued, with funds exhausted within two hours. Similarly, the Lubelskie Voivodeship launched the ‘Lubelski Czek Turystyczny’ with a 3 million PLN budget, targeting seniors and Large Family Card holders with ministerial funding.

The Podkarpackie Voivodeship is also launching the ‘Podkarpackie Czeki Turystyczne’ program, which offers 300 PLN subsidies for stays of at least two nights. This initiative has a budget of approximately 3 million PLN, divided into three recruitment phases to encourage off-season travel. More than 370 accommodation facilities have already joined the program. The first round of applications is scheduled to open on September 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The program aims to boost tourism in border regions that have seen decreased activity due to the war in Ukraine.

On a broader scale, the Ministry of Sport and Tourism has allocated 6 million PLN to support tourism across Podkarpackie, Lubelskie, Podlaskie, and Warmińsko-Mazurskie. Deputy Minister Ireneusz Raś indicated that the government is considering expanding such vouchers nationwide by autumn 2027, pending additional funding from the Sejm.
