Lubin football clubs kick off top‑division season and wrap up lower‑league campaign
KGHM Zagłębie Lubin will open the upcoming Ekstraklasa season at the end of July, hosting Piast Gliwice at the KGHM Zagłębie Arena. The schedule also includes away matches against Legia Warszawa, a trip to Częstochowa, a derby with Śląsk Wrocław in the fourth round and a season‑closing visit to Wisła Kraków. Defending champions Lech Poznań will contest the title.
Górnik Lubin, playing in the Legnicki A‑Klasa, will conclude its season on Saturday with a home match against Sparta Parszowice at Alei Komisji Edukacji Narodowej. The club hopes to break a winless run dating from 19 April, while fans can enjoy a grill, inflatable games and prize contests during the event.
