Lublin prosecutors charge 14 people in major drug trafficking case

An indictment has been filed in the District Court in Lublin against 14 residents of the Lublin region suspected of operating an organized crime group involved in the production and distribution of large quantities of narcotics. The group, active between 2019 and 2023, is accused of producing over one ton of amphetamine, as well as dealing in significant amounts of marijuana, mephedrone, and clephedrone. The black market value of the drugs is estimated to exceed 80 million PLN.

Law enforcement previously dismantled an amphetamine laboratory in Lublin and seized various substances, including 5 kg of marijuana, 5 kg of amphetamine, and several liters of liquid amphetamine. The charges against the 14 individuals include participation in an organized criminal group, manufacturing and distributing psychotropic substances, and trespassing. Nine of the suspects have been placed in temporary arrest, while assets worth over 400,000 PLN have been secured for future penalties.
