The municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde is undergoing several administrative and legal shifts. The Court of Justice ruled in favor of a Public Ministry action requiring the city to replace temporary health workers with candidates who passed recent public exams, noting that the expiration of previous management partnerships should have been anticipated.

In local governance, the City Council approved a project to extend the bus terminal concession for up to ten years. This extension, pending mayoral sanction, includes a modernization plan funded by the concessionaire to improve infrastructure, such as expanding service counters and upgrading facilities.

Additionally, the municipal government has opened several calls for service providers and cultural projects. The Health Secretariat is seeking medical services for local health units with an estimated value of R$ 11,755,900.00. Simultaneously, the Culture and Tourism Secretariat is accepting applications for the ‘Natal da Esperança 2026’ artistic program, with an investment of R$ 180,000.00 funded by the National Aldir Blanc Policy.
