Marvel and Lucasfilm announce Star Wars: Ahsoka comic series

Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm have announced a new five-issue comic book miniseries titled ‘Star Wars: Ahsoka — Escape from Thrawn’. The series is based on a story by Dave Filoni and written by Rodney Barnes, with art by Andrea Di Vito.

The comic aims to bridge the narrative gap from the first season of the Disney+ series ‘Ahsoka’, specifically detailing how Ezra Bridger managed to escape Grand Admiral Thrawn’s flagship, the Chimaera, after stowing away on board to return home. The plot follows Ezra as he navigates hyperspace while evading Captain Enoch and the dark magic of the Nightsisters.

The first issue is scheduled for release on January 20, 2027, coinciding with the premiere of the second season of the ‘Ahsoka’ television series.
