Luciano Hang tours $100 million Havan megastore construction in Tramandaí, Brazil

Founder of Brazilian retailer Havan, Luciano Hang, visited the construction site of a new megastore in Tramandaí, Rio Grande do Sul, on Tuesday (7). The project involves a R$ 100 million investment, a 10,000 m² building that will house more than 350,000 items, a food court, free parking and the chain’s signature Statue of Liberty façade.

The store is scheduled to open on 15 August 2024 and is expected to generate around 200 direct jobs during its rollout. It will be the 23rd Havan megastore in the state and the second on the north coastal region, where the retailer has been expanding since 2021. The Tramandaí outlet is part of Havan’s national expansion plan for 2026, which also includes potential new megastores in the nearby municipalities of Osório and Torres.
