Luigi Viscovo funeral and autopsy reveal cause of fatal road crash in Eboli, Italy

Funeral services for 63‑year‑old logistics entrepreneur Luigi Viscovo were held on 1 August at the Church of Sacro Cuore in Eboli, Italy. Viscovo died after his motorcycle was struck by a car on the Cilentana road near the Pattano interchange. His wife, Carmela Brancaccio, survived with non‑life‑threatening injuries.

An autopsy confirmed that Viscovo suffered multiple severe fractures from a lateral impact after a 19‑year‑old driver attempted an unsafe overtaking maneuver inside the unlit Pattano tunnel.
