Luis de la Fuente set for RFEF contract renewal until 2030

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) is set to vote on Monday, September 21, to renew the contract of men's national team coach Luis de la Fuente. The extension aims to keep him at the helm of the Spanish squad at least until the 2030 World Cup.

According to RFEF President Rafael Louzán, the federation is finalizing the agreement to ensure De la Fuente remains in charge for several more years. The new contract is expected to include a significant salary increase, potentially placing him among the top ten highest-paid coaches globally.

In addition to De la Fuente, the board will also vote on the renewal of Jesús Velasco, the coach of the national futsal team.
