Espanyol striker Roberto Fernández has also been named to the side. His inclusion carries financial implications for his club; if the 24-year-old makes an appearance in any of the four upcoming matches, his release clause is set to automatically increase from 25 million to 30 million euros. Additionally, Dean Huijsen and Fermín López return to the side.
