Luján religious pilgrimages and papal visit preparations underway

Various religious and community events are being organized in the Province of Buenos Aires, centered around the city of Luján.

The third edition of the Motorcycle Pilgrimage to Luján is scheduled for Saturday, September 12. The event will begin at 10:00 AM at the Axion Energy station on Avenida General Paz in Liniers, with participants expected to arrive at the Basilica of Our Lady of Luján between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The event is free and allows motorcyclists to join the caravan from intermediate cities along the route.

Additionally, Governor Axel Kicillof has coordinated with provincial, municipal, and religious authorities to prepare for the 52nd Youth Pilgrimage to Luján, set for October 3 and 4. This coordination also includes planning for a significant upcoming visit by Pope Leo XIV in November, which officials described as a historic event for Argentina.
