Lukavac Election Commission seeks urgent replacement for polling board members

The Lukavac City Election Commission is urgently seeking to fill vacancies for polling board members and their deputies ahead of the 2026 General Elections. The commission reported that out of 17 political entities entitled to propose candidates, seven failed to fulfill their obligation to submit names for their assigned polling stations.

As a result, the commission must now secure 218 missing members and deputies, along with 30 candidates for chairpersons and deputy chairpersons, through a reserve list of qualified persons. The commission noted that the current reserve list contains only six individuals, complicating the final stages of election preparations. The deadline for applications is September 3, 2026.
