Brazilian sports commentator Luís Roberto has returned to broadcasting on TV Globo following a four-month hiatus to treat cervical cancer. His return took place during a major South American football match at the Mineirão stadium in Belo Horizonte.

During the broadcast, Roberto expressed deep emotion while thanking his family, friends, and the network for their support. He detailed his medical journey, which included 33 sessions of radiotherapy and seven sessions of chemotherapy after a preventive exam in April revealed the neoplasm. He described the experience as a chance to restart, noting the importance of the support system that assisted him throughout his treatment.
