Police investigate multiple crimes across Austria and Germany
Various criminal incidents have been reported across Austria and Germany. In Nuremberg, a 41-year-old man was arrested after stealing a Chevrolet Corvette valued at approximately 100,000 euros. The suspect reportedly drove at speeds exceeding 200 km/h, refueled the vehicle without payment, and was eventually apprehended after a high-speed chase.
In Austria, authorities in Steiermark identified 40 suspects, including 24 arrests, following a November 2025 robbery of Croatian citizens by football hooligans on the A9 motorway. Additionally, a masked individual robbed a gas station in Wels-Neustadt, threatening employees with a firearm; the suspect remains at large.
