Luup announces new mobility and rental space campaigns in Japan

Luup, a micro-mobility sharing service provider, has announced several promotional campaigns scheduled to begin in September 2026 to expand its user base and integration with urban services.

In a collaboration with Instabase, a space rental platform, users can access discounts to bridge the gap between transit hubs and remote rental locations. The campaign offers a 1,000 yen discount on Instabase space rentals and provides new Luup users with 180 minutes of free riding, alongside a 10-day period of free short rides. This initiative aims to make spaces located further from train stations more accessible via micro-mobility.

Separately, Luup is launching a referral campaign available to both new and existing users. Participants who invite others can receive a 1,000 yen coupon once the invitee registers a code. New users benefit from 14 days of free 30-minute rides (up to 20 times), while existing users receive a 1,000 yen coupon upon registration via an invitation code. These campaigns target various major Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.
