Luxembourg and Belgium face unseasonable heatwave

Luxembourg and Belgium are experiencing an unseasonably warm weather pattern, with temperatures expected to reach up to 30°C in both regions during the early part of the week.

In Luxembourg, temperatures are forecasted to climb significantly, potentially exceeding 30°C in sheltered areas by Tuesday. This heatwave follows a period of mild weather and represents a departure from traditional climate norms for late September. While some clouds and light rain may affect the west, sunny conditions and high continental pressure are expected to dominate much of the country.

Similarly, Belgium is facing an exceptional heat episode. According to the Royal Meteorological Institute, temperatures in the eastern part of the country could reach between 22°C and 28°C on Monday, with highs potentially hitting 30°C on Tuesday. While the west and northwest may see occasional showers, much of the country is expected to remain dry under sunny skies.
