Luxury conference train departs Duisburg for Xi'an

A luxury train project initiated by entrepreneur Jovanka Porsche has departed from Duisburg, Germany, embarking on a journey toward Xi'an, China. Following a route inspired by the historic Silk Road, the project serves as a mobile conference platform designed to bring together experts from politics, business, science, and culture.

One carriage has been converted into a conference room where participants will discuss topics such as artificial intelligence, food security, and the space economy. The initiative, titled ‘Ways into the Future’, is a pilot project funded by Porsche through her Vienna-based think tank, Global Neighbours. The journey is scheduled to continue until November 4.
