Álvaro Dias backs PL Jovem at Natal event, promotes youth involvement in Rio Grande do Norte politics

On 6 July 2026, Álvaro Dias, pre‑candidate for governor of Rio Grande do Norte, attended the launch of Josemar Varela’s pre‑candidacy for state deputy in Natal. The gathering, named “Acorda RN”, was held at the Praiamar Natal Hotel & Convention and brought together dozens of Liberal Party (PL) leaders, including federal deputies Nikolas Ferreira and General Girão, São Paulo city councilors Fernando Holiday and Lucas Pavanato, as well as other local candidates.
