LVMH and Homo Faber showcase global craftsmanship and heritage

Major luxury and craft initiatives are highlighting the importance of traditional craftsmanship and heritage. LVMH will host the sixth edition of ‘Les Journées Particulières’ from October 16 to 18. During this three-day event, 46 Maisons will open 65 locations across 11 countries, including workshops, manufacturing sites, cellars, and historic residences, some of which will be accessible to the public for the first time.

In Venice, the fourth edition of Homo Faber is being previewed at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini. Under the artistic direction of Es Devlin, the event features over 500 artisans and 700 works from more than 70 countries. The exhibition, themed ‘An Island of Light,’ explores the relationship between light, matter, and human touch, emphasizing the role of the artisan workshop as a cultural institution that preserves memory and technique.
