LVMH executive Antoine Arnault describes luxury market as being in a plateau

LVMH executive Antoine Arnault has characterized the current luxury goods market as being in a plateau phase rather than a systemic crisis. Speaking during the sixth edition of 'Les Journées Particulières'—an event showcasing the group's craftsmanship across 13 countries—Arnault expressed optimism, stating that the industry is undergoing a natural adjustment cycle.

Despite challenges in the Chinese market, Arnault emphasized LVMH's long-term strategy, which focuses on quality and patience over short-term marketing trends. He noted that the group's family-controlled structure provides stability against speculative market pressures.

Financial data for the quarter ending September 30 shows LVMH reported revenue of €18.5 billion, a 1 percent year-on-year increase. Growth was observed in four of the group's five business sectors, with mid-single-digit expansion reported in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
