Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School Vice Principal under investigation

Authorities in Quang Ninh are investigating an incident at Ly Thuong Kiet Primary School after images circulated on social media showing a white car parked in the schoolyard during a student flag-raising ceremony. The vehicle has been identified as belonging to Tran Thi Thu, the Vice Principal in charge of the school's third campus.

School leadership stated that parking the vehicle in the assembly area was inappropriate, as it disrupted the solemnity of the ceremony, affected school discipline, and posed potential safety risks. The school is currently undergoing a review process following directives from the Viet Hung Ward People's Committee.

In a separate matter, the Viet Hung Ward Party Committee requested an investigation into allegations that the Vice Principal had borrowed money from several teachers without repayment. Following an interdisciplinary meeting, authorities determined that these transactions were civil matters to be resolved according to legal regulations. Reports indicate the Vice Principal has stated she currently lacks the ability to repay the debts.
