Lázaro Cárdenas Primary School wall and classroom collapse in Juárez

A wall and a classroom structure collapsed at the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal Primary School in Juárez, Mexico. The incident, reported around 12:48 hours, resulted in no reported injuries.

According to Adrián Sánchez, spokesperson for the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), the school's director attributed the damage to recent rainfall. While initial reports suggested the collapse of two warehouses, authorities clarified that the damage was limited to a classroom wall and a section of the school's perimeter wall.

Civil Protection and Firefighters personnel attended the scene. The affected area has been cordoned off to prevent neighbors and school staff from approaching, as there is a risk of further structural collapse. The Secretariat of Education and Sport of the North Zone has not yet issued an official statement regarding the school's condition or planned repairs.
