M6 records best month ever in July 2026 TV ratings as TF1 hits historic low

M6 posted its strongest July on record, reaching a 13.3% audience share driven by the World Cup and French national team matches. The channel led the 25‑49 age group, its best performance in that demographic since 2006.

TF1 suffered its lowest July audience, slipping to a 16.3% share, the weakest level in its history. France 2 surged during the Tour de France, capturing up to 40.5% of the afternoon market. News channel BFMTV posted its best July share at 3.1% after extensive fire coverage, while LCI recorded its second‑best month. CNews saw a decline, falling to a 2.4% share.
