M6 Group announces 40th anniversary programming and digital growth

The M6 Group has announced its programming strategy for its 40th anniversary season, emphasizing a hybrid approach between linear broadcasting and digital expansion. During a recent press conference, executives reported record-breaking performance, noting that the M6+ streaming platform has reached 32.5 million monthly users, bolstered by significant growth during the World Cup.

New programming highlights include ‘Wanted: Attrape-moi si tu peux’, a large-scale celebrity manhunt game, and ‘Le Procès, et si vous étiez juré ?’, a judicial reconstruction program hosted by Anne-Sophie Lapix. The group also plans to revive the reality format ‘Le Pensionnat’ and release ‘Le Charles’, a thriller set on the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.

To strengthen its digital presence, the group has secured content distribution agreements with Prime Video and Disney+. CEO David Larramendy stated that the group will continue to prioritize innovation and risk-taking to maintain its market position.
