Macaé announces 2026 event calendar and upcoming jiu-jitsu championship

The city of Macaé has confirmed several key dates for its 2026 official event calendar, covering culture, sports, and gastronomy. Confirmed events include the Sesc Verão and Esporte Verão in January, Carnaval da Alegria and Samba School parades in February, Expo Macaé in July, the Macaé Culture and Gastronomy Festival in September, and the New Year's Eve celebration on December 31.

Additionally, the Ginásio Poliesportivo will host the XForce Classic Fight 2026 championship this coming Saturday. The jiu-jitsu competition will feature both Gi and NoGi modalities for athletes ranging from Festival to Master categories. Admission to the sporting event requires a donation of two kilograms of non-perishable food.
