Macaé hosts 15th Culture and Gastronomy Festival

The 15th Macaé Culture and Gastronomy Festival is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 13, 2026, at the Orla dos Cavaleiros. Centered on the theme ‘Terroir,’ the event aims to highlight local ingredients, regional stories, and the identity of Macaé’s producers.

The festival will feature over 20 professionals, including chefs, sommeliers, and specialists, participating in show classes and culinary demonstrations. The programming also includes musical and cultural attractions intended to boost local tourism and benefit the hospitality and commerce sectors.

Due to the event, the local mobility department has announced traffic changes. A section of Avenida Atlântica, between Rua Lindolfo Collor and Rua Mar Del Plata, will be closed from September 7 to 16 for the assembly and disassembly of structures. Authorities recommend that visitors use public transportation, taxis, or ride-sharing services to navigate the area.
