Macedonia funds 1,116 municipal projects under Azizi's development plan

The government of North Macedonia, represented by spokesperson Venera Latifi Azizi, announced that two public funding rounds have supported a total of 1,116 capital projects across all municipalities. The first call financed 288 projects, of which 229 are completed, 57 are under construction, 9 are near completion and 2 have not yet started. The second call funded 828 projects, with contracts signed for 724 of them; 361 are in implementation, 296 have begun field work, 217 are finished and 24 are in the final phase.

Most of the projects involve new roads, asphalted streets, modern schools, kindergartens, sports halls, water‑supply and sewage systems, and other public facilities aimed at improving living standards. The government said it will continue to identify needs for a new funding round next year to sustain and expand this investment cycle.
