Macedonia launches two new electronic agriculture certification services

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, led by Stefan Andonovski, together with Ivica Angelovski, director of the State Inspection for Agriculture, announced the introduction of two electronic certification services. The services – a “Quality Assurance” certificate for agricultural products, processing and goods, and a “Quality Assurance V1” certificate for wine export – are now available through the national portal uslugi.gov.mk.

The electronic certificates carry the same legal weight as paper versions and are intended to simplify and accelerate procedures for producers, processors, winemakers and exporters. The rollout also digitises fee payments, allowing companies to pay electronically via banking apps, which is expected to reduce administrative costs, improve transparency and lower corruption risks.
