Macedonia police report four family-violence incidents in one night, two arrests

The Ministry of Internal Affairs recorded four separate family‑violence cases over a single 24‑hour period in North Macedonia. In Skopje, a 29‑year‑old woman reported that she and her two children were physically attacked by her 32‑year‑old partner. In the same city, a 66‑year‑old woman and her husband said they were abused by their 19‑year‑old grandson who demanded money and threatened them. Near Radovish, police detained a 51‑year‑old man accused of assaulting his 40‑year‑old cohabiting partner. In Strumica, a 31‑year‑old man was arrested after allegedly beating his brother. Two suspects have been taken into custody, and prosecutors will file charges as investigations continue.
