Macedonia promotes 36 new army officers at Military Academy ceremony

The Macedonian Ministry of Defence held a graduation ceremony at the General Mihailo Apostolski Military Academy in the Goce Delchev barracks. Thirty‑six cadets from the 26th class, one graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and 16 participants of the senior officers' training course were promoted to the ranks of lieutenant and senior lieutenant.

Defence Minister Vlado Misajlovski addressed the graduates, calling the promotion an investment in the future of the Macedonian Army and national security. He stressed the officers’ responsibility to uphold honesty, integrity and the state’s interests. Dean Colonel Nenad Taneski highlighted the academy’s role as a regional centre for military education and thanked Bosnia‑Herzegovina and Montenegro for their cooperation.
