Macedonian Ministry Extends Gas Connection Subsidy Deadline to Oct 2026
The Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources has prolonged the application period for state financial support that helps households connect to the natural gas distribution system or purchase a gas boiler. The new deadline is 31 October 2026, extending the previous cut‑off date.
The programme offers up to 30,000 denars (about 70 % of eligible costs) per household, with a total budget of three million denars. Applications are allocated on a “first‑come, first‑served” basis until funds are exhausted, and each household may submit only one request. Eligibility covers households that will complete a gas connection in 2026 or that will buy a gas boiler for an already‑connected property before 1 January 2026.
Applicants must provide documentation such as a price confirmation from the gas distributor, proof of purchase, notarised statements and personal identification. Submissions are to be sent in a sealed envelope by post or delivered directly to the ministry’s office in Skopje.
