Mayor Gerasimovski Announces 100,000‑Denar Aid for Storm Victims in Skopje’s Center Municipality

The Center Municipality (Komuna/Opština Qendër) in Skopje has issued a public call for one‑time financial assistance to residents and legal entities whose roofs or facades were damaged by a severe storm on 21 July 2026. Eligible claimants can receive up to 100,000 denars per application. Applications must be submitted to the municipal archive on Mihail Cokov Street between 09:00 and 15:00 on working days, and the submission period runs for two months from the announcement date.

Mayor Goran Gerasimovski said all municipal services were deployed immediately after the storm, with a crisis staff coordinating cleanup, safety checks and relief efforts. A seven‑member commission drawn from the municipal council and administration will evaluate claims and determine aid amounts based on established criteria, available budget and the extent of damage.
