Macerata defeats Lube Civitanova 3-1 in friendly match

Gruppo Associati Fisiomed Macerata defeated Cucine Lube Civitanova 3-1 in a friendly training match held at the Banca Macerata Forum. This event marked Lube's return to Macerata for the first time in 12 years following their 2014 relocation to Civitanova Marche.

The match sets ended 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, and 25-16 in favor of Macerata. Lube played with a reduced roster, facing nine absences due to national team commitments. Despite the loss, Lube's Hetman and Gargiulo were top scorers for their side, while Macerata's victory was driven by strong performances from Novello, who scored 21 points, and Frage Rubin, who contributed 20.

Lube's Davide Gardini noted the team's need to improve precision and continuity, specifically regarding second touches and coverage. The event also saw the presence of Maksym Tonkonoh in the stands.
