Macerata defeated Lube 3-1, with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-20, and 25-16. Lube played with a reduced roster due to nine absences for national team commitments. While Hetman and Gargiulo were Lube’s top scorers, Macerata’s victory was led by Novello and Frage Rubin. Following the match, Davide Gardini noted the team’s need to improve “precision and continuity,” specifically regarding “second touches and coverage.” Tonkonoh was present in the stands for the event.
