Mad Video Music Awards 2026 in Greece sees Elena Foureira’s win and Ria Ellinidou’s duet

Elena Foureira received the Video of the Year award at the Mad Video Music Awards 2026, delivering an emotional acceptance speech in which she thanked her family, husband Alberto and her mother for their support.

Ria Ellinidou opened the ceremony with a striking performance of “Safari”, featuring an industrial‑style set, and later joined Angelia Dimitriou for a surprise duet of the 1993 hit “Ftaiei o erotas”. The awards, broadcast live by Mega for the seventh consecutive year, highlighted several prominent Greek pop artists.
