MAD Video Music Awards 2026 set for live broadcast on Greece's Mega channel

The MAD Video Music Awards 2026, the 23rd edition of Greece's premier music ceremony, will be aired live on Mega on Wednesday, 1 July at 21:00 for the seventh consecutive year. Hosted by Themis Georgantas and featuring a roster of Superhosts, the show follows a "Summer in Greece" theme and takes place in the Tae Kwon Do arena.

The programme includes warm‑up sets by Antonis Dimitriadi (AD1) and Athena Manoukian, an opening act by Akylas, and performances by Marseaux, Marina Spanou, LILA, Marina Satti, and Katérina Lióliou, among others. Highlights include live debut songs from Elena Paparizou and Eleni Foureira, a tribute to Antonis Remos for 30 years of career, and the award to Dimitris Kontopoulos from DARA for his contribution to the Greek record industry. A double honorary plaque will be presented to the Eurovision 2026 winner, DARA.

The broadcast aims to showcase the biggest names of the Greek music scene in a night of awards, collaborations and special recognitions.
