Madhya Pradesh CM to award scholarships to 102 students

On Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day, November 1, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will present the ‘Lord Shri Krishna Meritorious Student Scholarship’ to 102 students across the state. Each recipient will receive a scholarship of Rs 1 lakh and a certificate.

The scholarship scheme, managed by the Shri Krishna Pathey Nyas, aims to connect the younger generation with Indian intellectual traditions, culture, and the life philosophy of Lord Shri Krishna. The selection process involved an online competition held between August 11 and September 30, 2026, which saw 63,736 registrations and over 7.94 lakh website visits.

Following an assessment on October 23, 2026, a merit list of 5,514 participants was established based on high scores and completion speed. From this list, 102 students from both school and university categories were selected via a transparent lottery system. Khandwa district recorded the highest number of winners with six students.
