Overview

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has initiated several programs to support students in Madhya Pradesh. On November 1, the Chief Minister is scheduled to present the ‘Lord Shri Krishna Meritorious Student Scholarship’ to 102 students during Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day. Managed by the Shri Krishna Pathey Nyas, this scheme provides recipients with a certificate and Rs 1 lakh each. The selection followed an online competition held between August and September 2026, which utilized a lottery system to choose winners from a merit list of 5,514 participants.

In a separate engagement in the Barwani district, the Chief Minister participated in a dialogue titled ‘Basis of Developed India’ at Gayatridham Jamli. During this event, he announced a 10,000 rupee incentive for participating students, funded by his discretionary grant. He also highlighted state-led educational initiatives, including smart classes, ICT labs, and free coaching for JEE and NEET in government schools.
