Madhya Pradesh CM transfers 2,148 crore rupees to Ladli Behna beneficiaries

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has transferred over 2,148 crore rupees to the bank accounts of more than 1.25 crore women under the Ladli Behna Yojana. The disbursement, conducted via a single click during a state-level event in Maihar, includes the 39th monthly installment of 1,500 rupees per beneficiary, plus an additional 250 rupees as a special gift for the Raksha Bandhan festival. This brings the total amount received by each eligible woman to 1,750 rupees.

Since the scheme's inception in June 2023, the state government has transferred a cumulative total of 63,248 crore rupees through 39 installments. For the 2026-27 financial year, the government has made a budget provision of 23,882.81 crore rupees for the scheme. Additionally, the state cabinet has approved 1,14,365 crore rupees to ensure the continuation of the program through the 2030-31 fiscal year.

During the event in Maihar, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and performed ground-breaking ceremonies for various development projects valued at 256 crore rupees.
