Madoka Magica film hits 1 billion yen at Japanese box office

The new film 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica – Walpurgisnacht: Rising' has achieved significant commercial success in Japan, earning over 1 billion yen (approximately 5.5 million euros) within its first four days of release. The film reached this milestone much faster than its 2013 predecessor, which took 13 days to reach the same figure.

In Latin America, the distributor Konnichiwa! has announced that the film will debut in theaters starting October 1. However, a specific release date for Brazil has not yet been confirmed. The distributor has encouraged Brazilian fans to contact local cinemas to demonstrate interest in the film's theatrical exhibition, a move supported by fans using the hashtag #MadokaNoBrasil on social media.
