Madrid Fashion Week 2026 opens with runway in Sabatini Gardens

The inaugural show of OMODA Madrid es Moda 2026 will take place on 7 September at 19:00 in the Sabatini Gardens, with the Royal Palace of Madrid as a backdrop. Organized by the Association of Creators of Fashion of Spain (ACME) and supported by the Madrid City Council, the runway will feature more than 30 established and emerging Spanish designers, including Angel Schlesser, Adlib Ibiza and Devota & Lomba.

The opening marks the start of a four‑day programme (7‑10 September) that will be followed by Mercedes‑Benz Fashion Week Madrid (14‑19 September). The event aims to bring high‑fashion onto historic public spaces such as the Sabatini Gardens, Plaza de España and the Prado, boosting Madrid’s international fashion profile and generating an estimated economic impact of around €100 million, with a municipal investment of €2 million.
