Madrid to host inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2026
Madrid is set to host the inaugural Formula 1 TAG Heuer Gran Premio de España in September 2026, marking the sport's return to the Spanish capital after more than four decades. The event features TAG Heuer as a title partner, with celebrations including video-mapping projections at the Puerta del Sol and various trackside brand activations.
In conjunction with the racing festivities, Hispano Suiza showcased its 120-year heritage at the Spanish Grand Prix. The manufacturer displayed nine vehicles, including eight historic models ranging from 1912 to 2002 and its latest all-electric hypercar, the Carmen Sagrera. The Carmen Sagrera produces 1,114 horsepower and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.6 seconds.
