Magaly Medina rejects interview with brother of Rodrigo González

Peruvian television host Magaly Medina revealed that she declined an interview request from Carlos González, the brother of presenter Rodrigo ‘Peluchín’ González. According to Medina, Carlos proposed an interview intended to speak against his brother.

Medina explained her decision to ‘Malvina Espectáculos’, stating that she refused to participate because the content would cause significant emotional pain to Rodrigo. Despite a current personal distance and public disagreements between the two media figures, Medina noted that she would not use her platform to ‘destroy’ him, citing their long-standing former friendship as a reason for her restraint. She stated, “I know that would hurt him a lot. I know that it would affect him, but I am not going to do it.”
