Public dispute between Magaly Medina and Rodrigo González

Overview

Peruvian television host Magaly Medina and presenter Rodrigo ‘Peluchín’ González have engaged in a public dispute following disagreements regarding comments made about the late journalist ‘La China Polo’. Medina criticized González, calling him a “segundón” and accusing him of lacking principles, noting that their former friendship had broken down after he hosted discussions involving Medina’s husband.

Following this tension, Medina revealed she rejected an interview request from Carlos González, the brother of Rodrigo González. She stated she declined the proposal because the content was intended to speak against his brother, and she refused to use her platform to “destroy” him, noting that such an interview would cause him significant emotional pain.
