Magelang and Sukoharjo Communities Mobilize Against Hoaxes and for Cleanliness in Indonesia

Deputy Regent of Magelang, Sahid, called on residents to verify information, curb the spread of hoaxes and address teen misbehavior. Speaking at a social‑political communication forum, he stressed that social and political stability depends on cross‑sector collaboration, transparent communication and meaningful public participation. Sahid urged citizens to read and share news responsibly, checking facts before dissemination, and to conduct politics courteously for the public good.

In Sukoharjo, Babinsa Kopka Rudy led a joint clean‑up effort with local residents and students from SMP Negeri 2 and 9. The volunteers cleared streets, drainage channels and collected waste to improve hygiene and reduce flood risk. Rudy highlighted the activity as a way to strengthen the bond between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the community, promoting a culture of cleanliness and mutual cooperation.
