Magewell and Zixi expand partnership for IP video workflows

Magewell and Zixi have expanded their collaboration to provide broadcasters and streaming providers with a reliable, end-to-end workflow for transporting live video over public and hybrid IP networks. The solution utilizes Magewell’s Ultra Encode Plus and Ultra Encode AIO encoders alongside Zixi’s error-resilient transport technology to protect video from packet loss, jitter, and latency without the need for expensive dedicated circuits or satellite links.

The integrated workflow includes Magewell Pro Convert IP decoders to convert Zixi streams back to SDI or HDMI for production and monitoring. The system is managed through Zixi ZEN Master, which offers centralized control, real-time telemetry, and orchestration for deployments ranging from single setups to large-scale operations. A leading U.S. streaming service has already deployed this combined solution to manage live IP video across its production and distribution operations.
