Magic Knight Rayearth anime adaptation announced for 2026

A new anime adaptation of the cult manga ‘Magic Knight Rayearth’ by CLAMP is scheduled to debut on October 7, 2026. The series will restart from the original story and will be available for simulcast streaming in Europe and Italy via Crunchyroll.

In preparation for the release, Crunchyroll has announced a free special event in Rome at the The Space Cinema Moderno on October 5, 2026. The event will feature a screening of the first two episodes in the original Japanese language with Italian subtitles. Participation is free on a first-come, first-served basis for attendees aged 16 and older.

The original manga was serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine between 1993 and 1995. The new production is directed by Yui Miura and produced by E&H Production.
