Overview
An anime remake of the CLAMP manga series ‘Magic Knight Rayearth’ is scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2026. Produced by E&H Production and directed by Yui Miura, the series will restart from the original story and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
Promotional activities for the release include the unveiling of a new trailer featuring musical themes by Toaka and Yurina Kawaguchi, alongside a voice cast including Ayane Sakura and Rie Takahashi. Additionally, Crunchyroll has announced a free special event in Rome at The Space Cinema Moderno on October 5, 2026, which will feature a screening of the first two episodes with Italian subtitles.
As the premiere approaches, the November issue of Nakayoshi magazine will feature a reprint serialization of the original manga. The anime is set to air on the TV Asahi network during the ‘IMAnimation W’ slot. Updated cast details confirm Ayane Sakura as Hikaru, Rumi Okubo as Umi, and Rie Takahashi as Fuu, with Saori Hayami voicing Emeraude and Yuki Ono as Zagat. The opening theme is ‘Otome no Ken’ by Toia, and the ending theme is ‘Hoshidomari’ by Yurina Kawaguchi.
