Magic: The Gathering announces Reality Fracture release date

Wizard of the Coast has announced the release of the Magic: The Gathering expansion, Reality Fracture, scheduled for October 2. The set includes a wide variety of products for collectors, Commander players, and draft enthusiasts. The main set features 71 commons, 109 uncommons, 64 rares, and 26 mythic rares, alongside various land cards.

The announcement has already impacted the secondary market. Following the unveiling of the Multiverse Reforged Commander precon, the price of the card Sphinx Ambassador has surged to approximately $50, up from roughly $15. This price spike is attributed to synergy with The Ur-Sphinx, which encourages the use of Sphinx-themed decks, driving demand for the card's ability to steal threats in the Commander format.
