Maharashtra ATS seizes ₹9.4 crore in methamphetamine during Mumbai and Noida raids

The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has dismantled an inter-state drug network following raids in Mumbai and Greater Noida, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine valued at approximately ₹9.4 crore.

In the initial phase of the operation, officials recovered 2,050 grams of methamphetamine worth roughly ₹4 crore from Bandra East in Mumbai. During subsequent questioning, an arrested Israeli national allegedly identified a drug production factory located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Acting on this intelligence, the ATS and local police raided the facility in Greater Noida, seizing an additional 2,688 grams of methamphetamine valued at approximately ₹5.4 crore. Investigators also recovered materials suspected to be used in the manufacturing of illegal drugs at the site.

Three foreign nationals, including one Israeli man and two women, have been arrested. Authorities are currently investigating the potential international links of the racket and the logistics used to transport narcotics between Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
