Mahindra and Toyota set to unveil new SUVs in India by 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra is expected to launch several new SUVs in the Indian market over the next three months, including the compact Vision S, a facelifted Scorpio N, and a next‑generation Bolero. The models are slated for release in late 2026 or early 2027 and are reported to feature larger touch‑screen infotainment systems, digital instrument clusters, advanced driver‑assist (ADAS) safety suites and a range of petrol and diesel powertrains.

Toyota is preparing a new generation of its Fortuner SUV for India, targeting a market entry by the end of 2026. Built on the latest Hilux platform, the updated Fortuner will carry a more muscular exterior design, larger LED lighting elements, a premium cabin with a 12.3‑inch touchscreen and digital driver display, and modern features such as OTA software updates and electric power steering. The powertrain lineup is expected to remain unchanged from the current model.

Both manufacturers suggest Indian buyers wait for these upcoming releases to benefit from enhanced technology and design.
